About The Issa Foundation

The Issa Family Foundation works to highlight the daily needs of the world around us that those have overlooked. Our primary focus has been to clean energy helping the united states reach an impressive 15% of the gird on solar. 

Solar power generation is one of the energies of the future. If you are wondering how solar power works in a solar-powered home, the energy your system produces won’t be stored in batteries (in conventional installations).

When you make solar power, your installation converts the sun’s rays from DC power to AC power (using an inverter), which then sends electricity back to the electric grid. If you have ever heard of meters “running backward”, that’s what it means. Your house becomes a mini power utility!

Over this last year, we’ve been broadening our outlook and started to focus on a wider outreach including clean water, environment & communities. We seek to innovate.

Building upon a strong foundation of science, partnership, and field demonstration. Conservation International empowers societies to responsibly and sustainably care for nature, our global biodiversity, for the well-being of humanity.

Our Vision

A clean planet and bettered lives are the goals. It doesn’t mean you can’t do the things you enjoy, but it’s about recognizing that what we do has an environmental impact. And the biggest impact is from the consumption of nonrenewable resources.

We imagine a healthy, prosperous world in which societies are forever committed to caring for and valuing nature, for the long-term benefit of people and all life on Earth.
